Now, If Only…

..I had gotten serious about tracking a month or 6 ago.

Jenny: -4.2 lbs (total loss of 50.8)
Jason: -6.2 lbs (total loss of 40.8)

As you can see, she’s still kicking by butt. I’m 0.2 lbs away from my lowest point to date, and being back on track for serious this time, I’m hoping to finally get below 300 lbs either this week or next week.

We also had a couple of our coworkers sign up last week, so their first weigh ins were this week. One of them lost 6.6 and the other lost 4.0, so the four of us together lost about 21 lbs last night which was over half of the total weight lost for the entire group.

The tracking was really the only thing that I changed up this week. I got a very small walk in the park with our puppy that I’m sure wasn’t even a full point’s worth of activity, but otherwise no exercise at all last week.

Since I haven’t been tracking well for a long time, this week might be a fluke in how much I lost as it’s basically like starting over brand new. Now to see if I can keep it up for a second week, and how well I do at the end of it.

Round 2: FIGHT!

Oh, and one more thing. If you’re having some unexpected gains, or you’re losing less than you think you should be when you’re following the plan and everything – keep an eye on how much fruit you’re eating. It might not have an official points value, but if you’re eating too much fruit then you may very well be eating points that you don’t know about. Try to keep your fruit to about five servings worth per day and snack on veggies instead. See if that helps you out.
